ABOUT ME
My passion is to help others bounce back and gain strength when feeling off course.

I'll help you cultivate strengths, solve problems, and bring out the best qualities that are always there but sometimes get lost in the struggles. I enjoy working with high school and college students, teachers, and parents. I also specialize in working with HSPs and navigating workplace dynamics. My experience includes working in both school and hospital settings. I have conducted parenting seminars on various topics including Raising Resilient Kids and Raising Responsible Kids. I have also conducted social emotional learning classes for students.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University. After working in the business world for 5 years, I felt compelled to be in a helping profession which led me to pursue my Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Denver. I am married and we have raised three children whom are now young adults. My life experience enriches my practice and enhances my ability to empathize as raising a family is truly rewarding and challenging!

My role is to offer a tailored approach including evidence-based interventions that support your goals. We'll uncover strengths and obstacles to help you move forward. My approach to therapy is collaborative, empathetic, and nonjudgemental. I believe in the power of presence and connectedness with respect to each individual journey.
Life is challenging! It takes resourcefulness and adaptability to forge ahead. Therapy can give you the support you need to process your feelings, optimize learning, and help you feel stronger. Phone or email is great to get started. I like to begin with a short phone conversation first. I look forward to hearing from you!
